What You Are Looking At

THE ROOMS, FINISHED.

Each kitchen record notes what actually changed: whether the layout stayed, whether a wall came out, whether services moved, and what tier of cabinetry went in. Two kitchens that look comparable in a photograph can differ by a factor of three in cost, and the difference is almost never the thing you are looking at. We say which is which so the comparison is a fair one.
Range

REFIT THROUGH REBUILD.

The range here runs from refits that kept every wall and every service where it was, through to rooms gutted, restructured, and reconnected to the rest of the house. Both are legitimate kitchen projects. Working out which one your own house needs is most of the budgeting exercise, and looking at both kinds side by side is the fastest way to do it.
Next Step

Which kitchen is yours?

Send a photo of the room and the wall you want gone. That is enough for a first conversation.
